How Virtual Lessons Work
Virtual lessons are full vocal (singing) coaching sessions, except that we meet online. Lessons include, but are not limited to:

Vocal warm-ups

Vocal technique
-
Song preparation and delivery

Musical performance (emoting, characterisation, lyric analysis, etc.)
All you need is a stable internet connection, a webcam, a microphone, a compatible device (computer, tablet or smart phone) and room to stand up and move around (if applicable).
Please ensure you're in a quiet place free from distractions so you can attend the lesson uninterrupted, and where you can comfortably sing at full voice as required.
I provide the accompaniment for warm-ups, which you will hear through your speakers/headphones. No need to download anything!
I will provide the backing track and sheet music for any songs we choose to work on. Exceptions may be made if you have your own copies of the backing tracks and/or sheet music.
Please note, due to the rising cost of sheet music, effective July 1st, 2026, songs that I have in my library will now cost $3 per song, or can be bundled at 5 songs for $12. New songs not yet in my library now require a deposit of $5 per song,

A Note from Lisa
Coaching sessions focus on the performance, as well as the delivery, of the song.
I'm passionate about acting and I believe character development and nuance should exist in songs the same way they exist in speech. To me, lyrics are monologues, and so should be treated with the same respect and care as any script, only they require the added layer of vocal technique, as well.
I love helping people grow and develop their singing confidence, their performance skill, and most time, their vocal ranges, as well! My goal and wish for each lesson is that you have fun, feel supported and that you accomplish even more than you thought you were capable of. I believe in you!
